FLU VACCINATION CLINIC


Flu season is here again!


Speak to a member of our reception team today to book an appointment for your flu vaccination.


Our next Flu clinic is Saturday 17th November


At our next clinic we will only be allowing patients into the surgery


15 MINUTES before their appointment so please do not turn up before that time.


YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY.


When you do enter the surgery you will be directed to the seats provided and we will retain safe access and egress to the surgery at all times.


Our staff are there to help and direct our patients in a safe manner and we expect them to be treated with respect.



Community Midwives

Midwife- Emma Ratcliffe

Visits expectant mothers in their homes, holds a weekly antenatal clinic, holds relaxation classes and cares for mother and baby after delivery. If you need a midwife urgently out of surgery hours, please ring 01278 436774 (Mary Stanley Midwifery Led Unit, Bridgwater Hospital Maternity Unit) and they will bleep the midwife on call.  If you have recently discovered you are pregnant and have not yet been referred to the midwife, please complete this Midwife Referral Form, print it out and return it to us at Cheddar Medical Centre.  (Forms are available from reception if you do not have access to a printer).

Community Nurses

Our Community Nursing Team give nursing care to those patients unable to visit the surgery. They are based at Cheddar Medical Centre and can be contacted on 01934 743519 where, if they are unavailable, a message can be left on their Voicemail.

Health Visitors

Health Visitors are primarily involved in the provision of advice, health education and developmental screening for children under 5 years. They are based at Axbridge Surgery and can be contacted on 01934 732425.
